Application Developer - Web Based

Minimum Requirements:

     
  Education: Education or Formal Training: • Degree in Web Design, Computer Programming or similar program, or like experience preferred
 
  Ideal Candidate will have the following experience and qualifications: • Java
• ASP.Net
• Mobile Application Development
• Legacy experience on VB Script, ASP and
• Database Administration
• JavaScript
• SharePoint Server, beneficial
• Ecommerce and Content Management Systems
• Background in CSS development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external contacts at all levels
       

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

As an Application Developer at DCS Netlink, you'll be developing web-based applications using Java, ASP.NET and a variety of other web technologies. You will also assist in supporting older applications that have been developed in ASP utilizing VB scripting. A strong SQL knowledge base is required. Projects might include building mobile application, custom and e-commerce websites, integrating with web services and API's, and managing e-mail. You will be involved with clients through the whole process, including interfacing with clients to determine technical requirements, creating online applications, creating appropriate data and software architecture, coding, testing, QA, documentation and ongoing maintenance and support. Ultimately, our success is measured in the satisfaction of our clients, so to succeed here you must possess not only programming skills but also strong teamwork and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and design websites and Online Web Applications for clients
• Collaborate with other external clients and internal staff to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects.
